We provide the service of document certification as a true copy of the original. Certified documents can be used both in the country of their issuance and as a preliminary step for legalisation through an apostille for foreign use.
We can certify any statutory company’s documents such as certificate of registration or articles of association. We can also certify internal resolutions, powers of attorney and passport copies.
Normally, for complete verification of a company abroad, foreign commercial and government organisations usually request the following documents:
Company’s registration forms
Certificate of Registration
Certificate confirming the proper state of affairs of the company, which is called - Good Standing Certificate.
Internal resolutions. Initial, when the entity is newly registered or reflecting changes, if any.
Powers of attorney when the company is represented by a third party.
The legalisation of documents through an apostille for foreign use is carried out by the Legalisation Office of the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office in London.
The General Public has access to two methods of document legalisation through an apostille:
- The first method is the electronic version, or e-Apostille, which involves the electronic certification by a notary and the issuance of an exclusively electronic document. This method takes two working days. Before using this service, it is important to ensure that such a document will be accepted in the destination country.
You can obtain an e-Apostille by yourself. For more information, please refer to the following link.
- The second method involves submitting paper documents for the physical affixing of an apostille. This process can take around 5 days for processing.
